First Monarch of the year was sighted today (also our 3rd "warm" day this Spring) in Fredonia, NY - far western part of the state on Lake Erie, south of Buffalo. It's 60 degrees F., windy, and sunny. Looked like a relatively new individual, sex impossible to tell from my vantage point.
