Here is some data from Pinawa, Manitoba (50 N 95 W): MONARCH -- First record June 10; regular thereafter, 1-3 per day. Mostly flybys across the road in front of me; a few visiting Lilac blooms along with Tiger Swallowtails. Best numbers for several years (only one late straggler last year). Somewhat late arrival for a "good" year (they sometimes appear before the end of May).
