BALTIMORE ORIOLE -- Also a somewhat late arrival. First seen May 22. As is often the case with this species, all of a sudden they were all over the place. Also as usual, they becam= much less conspicuous as trees leafed out around the beginning of June. They seem to be a less common breeder here than formerly. Normal arrival is about May 15; earliest, May 11, latest May 22.
