Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 06/22/1997

Number: 1

The first Monarch butterfly showed up here on Sunday, June 22, 1997. Since then, a few have been spotted. They seem to be feeding on dogbane while they wait for the milkweed to bloom. There are also lots of Mourning Cloaks here as well. I am in the township of Albanel, District of Algoma, north of Iron Bridge on Hwy 546. Heather Foran
