I was sitting on the enclosed porch of some friends eating breakfast. At 9:15 a.m. a monarch fluttered above the potted pink geraniums. It was sunny, windy, and 84 degrees. At 9:40 a.m. the butterfly returned and landed on another pink geranium for about 4 seconds. Then it flew off.
