For the second time today at 3:00 p.m. I spotted a monarch. It flew only a few feet past me over the peony bush in my front yard. About 15 minutes I saw it flying around in the backyard. The temperature has been mild all day with 82 degrees at 3:00. The sky had only a few clouds and the wind was 12 mph.
