At my house we have 3 miniponds, a mid-sized butterfly garden with primarily native plants, three blue bird boxes (1 had bluebirds and 1 had titmice this
summer). We have left many logs felled by Hurricane Fran as salamander habitat. We let the flowers go to seed for the birds to eat. We have lots of seed feeders and 3 hummingbird feeders. I am currently raising four types of caterpillars - monarch, luna, imperial moth an black swallowtail. I will release the adults into the wild. It is an island in a sea of suburbia!
