Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/16/1997

Number: 1

We have a butterfly garden in the courtyard of our primary school.
Since the first of September we have tagged six Monarch.
We have about seven milkweed plants around our campus and since we
came back to school August 25 we have had around 30-40
monarch larva to eat all our plants up. One of the
milkweed plants replenished its leaves for a second time but
then the next batch of caterpillars ate all of this.
We now have no growth for the caterpillars to eat or for
any more eggs to be laid. Isn't this sad?
