On September 26th the 4th Monarch emerged and was released by the second graders to begin its migration. We released 3 females and 1 male in all. It was exciting to see them change into butterflies from caterpillers and to try to imagine the journey ahead of them. We are now completing our paper Butterflies to start their symbolic journey.
