We still have monarchs at the confluences of the Columbia, Yakima, and
Snake Rivers of Washington State. Approximately 14 days ago I found 10
larvae at one site feeding on Asclepias speciosa, Showy Milkweed, as well as
fresh and faded adults on the wing. There have been no frosts yet. We
continue to tag adults whenever we can. -- Patti Ensor
