My front yard is shaping up to be more of a woodland habitat. Trees include: silver maple (2), sugar maple, flowering dogwood (2), redbud. Tree/shrubs as I like to see them are: spicebush (2), service berry. Other plantings include: spirea, hostas (several varieties), columbine (2), lambs
ears.


My back yard is arranged in a series of islands.


#1 includes: crabapple, comphrey, yarrow, purple coneflower, asters, purple mallow, purple clover, great blue lobelia.


#2 includes: butterfly bush (3), bee balm, maltease (sp) cross, bachelors button.


#3 includes: marsh milkweed, butterfly weed, asters, fennel, lantana,
goldenrod, pussywillow, climbing rose, great blue lobelia.


#4 includes: liatris, birch, magnolia, current (3), sedum, iris, coralberry (3), day lilies, lantana.


Other trees and shrubs in the yard include 3 8' pine trees, one blue spruce, rose of sharon, double file viburnum, red twig dogwood. I also have two annual beds on the utility access
