One of our last monarchs left her cocoon today. She was tagged for Monarch Watch #SY428 "Kelsey". We will release her tomorrow. I returned to Ordiorne Point again today to count monarchs. We caught and tagged 5 as well as spotting another 8-10 on rag weed or flying south about 200 yards from the ocean. Tagged #SY429 a female "Chris", #SY430 a female "Kim", #SY431 a male "Walter", #SY432 a female "Jess", and #SY433 a male "Scott".
