The date we observed the first sign of fall colors on 9/23.
We are using a large maple tree outside our classroom for this observation project. This tree is within the heated microclimate
created by our brick school building, so the leaves on the tree
are several weeks behind the surrouding foliage, which is almost peak. Do you want us to continue using this tree, or start observing the surrounding peak foliage?
