Hello from Hagerstown, MD. My first grade class had the opportunity to raise, and release six monarch butterlflies. We released the last one on 9/21/97. They were a beautiful sight and the children enjoyed the opportunity to see it up close. We are still seeing some monarchs periodically when we are outside. We are excited to track their migration back north in the spring.
