With the temperature at 42degrees at 8:00 this evening there's
no doubt that we are fully entrenched in fall. The trees are
turning golden yellow and brillent reds, oranges and pinks! The
milkweed is yellowed and only sedum and brown eyed susans
blume in the butterfly garden at school. A small monarch
caterpillar was reported last week. A very late starter. We
see one monarch daily, maybe. There are two chrysalises
left at school and our monarch season will be over. We look
forward to watches the migration and northern migration in the
spring with Journey North. Thanks
