Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/03/1997

Number: 1

As we excitedly observe the 4 monarch's in our room begin their pupa stage, (we got them as eggs on a walking field trip) we have seen about 2 monarchs a day when we go in and out of the building on our way into the main building. We are eagerly awaiting the day when we will see many of them on their way south. The ones we see seem to usually be flying south and take a quick turn to the west and fly out of sight.
