We observed approximately 15 monarchs throughout the day as our classes were outside tagging monarchs. The numbers seem to have decreased over the last two or three weeks. We observed the greatest number of monarchs during our afternoon classes. Windy conditions did not see to affect the number of monarchs we observed.
