My first graders released 2 monarchs that they reared this morning. One immediately started flying south and the other one flew to a tree. Tomorrow we will be releasing the third monarch that we raised. We also have 5 monarch caterpillars still munching away. Two of them are about full grown but the other 3 still have about 1 week to eat and grow.
