Several students reported seeing a monarch on the football fireld at school today around 10:30 am. A few of them had seen lone monarchs over the weekend at the lake, in yards, and fields. Amanda Gentry and Jason Hutchinson reported seeing one fly while at the Cranberry Bog festival in Shady Valley. The weather was warm both Saturday and Sunday ..but today's high was only 64! The low, a chilly 46 degrees! We received news that many monarchs were showing in Mexico now! We know with the weather turning cooler our last sightings are not far away.
