Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/21/1997

Number: 1

The students at Donoho School in Anniston have continued to see Monarch butterflies scattered about the last few days, but we have not seen large groups of Monarchs together. Usually we see anywhere from one to 12 every day or so. Jonathan, who lives near a wooded areas, usually sees more than anyone else. Mrs. Smith, the 2nd grade teacher will see one or two occasionally in her flower beds. It is supposed to get much cooler here during the next few days, so there will probably be fewer Monarchs.
