As of October 26,1997, My wife and I have seen Monarch butterflies flying south through Monterrey (Mexico) for three or four days. Today we saw them around 10:00 hrs CST.
Temperature has been oscillating between 69.8 and 89.6 Fahrenheit from Oct. 23 through Oct. 25. Today it was 55 and 65 Fahrenheit. Monterrey, State of Nuevo Leon, is located 140 Miles, aproximately, south from Laredo, Texas. I hope this information helps preserve Monarch butterflies.
