I saw one monarch about 11:30 am CST. It was flying just above
ground level over a wheat field. It was flying in a S-SW direction. The temperature was in the upper 50's with southwest winds at 10 mph and clear skies. Todays sighting was the first since October 12, 1997. Hope this monarch has a safe trip to Mexico.
