One of the 5th grade teachers at our school, Mrs. Mundorff, was visiting Lake Limestone and watched single and small groups of monarches crossing the lake. In just a few minutes of watching, she estimated she saw about 100 monarchs. She noted that they seemed to be of different sizes.
