We planted our tulip bulbs by the school flagpole and near the school entrance. Students were very enthusiastic about this. We have had a mild autumn, but when we were ready to plant we had to delay our planting twice because of early snow! We planted the tulips in the a.m.. By the end of the school day, it was started to snow and switched to rain; so the bulbs were well watered. :-).
