Monarch butterflies were spotted all day long at our school: Solomon, in Mrs. Brown's 4th grade class spotted 2 near the Kindergarten area; Art Teacher Cheryl Lee and other teachers and students report that a single monarch fluttered around under the covered play area for a long time over the heads of the 1st graders; Rudy spotted 3, Giovana - 3, Sandra - 2, Rebecca - 1, Richard - 1, Jonathan - 1, Julia - 2, and the teachers (Cook, Porter, Lee, Gibbs, and Moses) spotted 3 more. It was a wonderful day!
