Students from Perkiomen Valley High biology classes assisted 4th grade
students from Evergreen Elementary to learn about the botany of tulips,
the climate of Pennsylvania, the history of the Tulipmania financial
crash of 1637 and the scientific method. Then they helped the younger
students to plant almost 200 Emperor tulip bulbs in front of both schools.
