The seventh grade students of Mounds Park Academy planted 100 tulips at the south entrance of the school in a roundabout mosaic garden. The site was chosen because it was very open, about 20-25 feet from any building and easily observed daily by students and visitors. The tulips were planted in the inner-most ring to avoid salt and debris from traffic and plowing.
