Hi,
Parkside Middle School Science Club members' (approx.50 students) planted: 60 Red Emperor & 18 Peppermint Stick Tulips.
Both Tulips are the early spring blooming species. We have had alot of rain this last week so the ground was very soft, great for planting tulips! The temperature outside was in the low 50's F. The only problem we had was due to time (we planted between 3-5 PM). It started getting dark as we finished the project. The Tulips have been planted in front of our school sign & the entrance to our school.
