We planted our tulip garden just in time. We planted it right
>before the first "heavy frost". We were lucky enough to have
>a parent that owns and operates a working farm. She came in
>and helped us turn and prepare the garden. We discussed the
>terms control and variable through this activity. The students
>took time to understand what it was so important to use a
>ruler and be precise while preparing the garden. The garden
>is now covered in hay and also has some particle board s on top to
>protect the bulbs from predators. We hope to see the
>beautiful tulips soon.
