Our tulip garden was planted on a typical fall day in New Jersey,
50 degrees and cloudy! We also planted an experimental winter garden at the same time-we were so inspired! Our winter garden includes ornamental kale, an azalea and a tall species lf grass one of our parents salvaged from the trash. The students were surprised to learn that gardening is hard work!
