It's been an unusually warm winter, with a few days of freezing weather and only a couple of snowfalls. That was followed by lots of rain and a warm spell. As a result some of our tulips are already sprouting. Whether they will survive is questionable, since January is still mid-winter here and a cooling trend is in the forecast. We could still get snow or more freezing weather.
