A bald eagle was spotted flying south and east along
the Anacostia River in Washington, D. C. It was flying
right overhead the visitors center in Kenilworth Aquatic
Gardens. Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is a former
marshland and now consists of ponds of water lilies.
The park ranger, Kate Bucco, said that the eagle
was probably a bachelor.
