Sighted at Stony Brook harbor, magnificent, winter plumage red - throated loon, 8:30 am, clear morning diving amongst red breasted mergansers... our waters are clean, a protected cove beyond harbor . .loon still here!!!! day 3 looks happy just diving solo amazed at its gracefullness for that early in the morning ^ 6 - 8:30 am, spotted him very close to me later in afternoon got some got pictures of him
