Although we entered a specific date, we have
actually been seeing robins for several weeks.
We were not sure about whether robins and orioles stay here all winter so we called the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge Center to ask. They reported that we have robins and orioles here all winter but we don't usually have whooping cranes, although some have been sighted. They said we do have sand cranes here.
