We have thousands of geese and ducks stopping here at Kirkpatrick's Basin, a wildlife refuge next to our town, York, Nebraska. Everybody is worried that they are here too soon and will suffer from some sudden change in the weather. We have been having highs in the 30's and 40's for a couple of weeks with the lows in the upper 20's. We have also been having strong southerly winds and lots of clouds.
