I work as a Interpretive Ranger at Rock Creek Park in Washington, D.C.
Today, I went hiking in the park along the Pinehurst Branch trail, and heard
wood frogs singing their mating calls; crocuses in bloom; daffodils in bloom
along Rock Creek Parkway by the Kennedy Center; skunk cabbage is getting
ready to bloom; snow drops (flowers are in bloom); and the buds on the trees
are getting ready to burst!
