Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 02/15/1998

Number: 1

When we came home from church at 9:30 AM, we saw a group of robins numbered around 20. They landed in our Bradford pear tree which has small cherry like fruits on it and they stripped it of fruit. They hung around for about 3 hours, flying to the tree and into the bushes at the first sign of noise or a dog. It was fun to watch them eat these fruits- gobbling them and seeing the fruit go down their throats. I would not think there was much nutrition in the fruits which have hung there all winter, but they really liked them and ate every single one!
