Bluebonnets in full bloom along the roadside between Port Lavaca and Victoria. Our backyard ones are showing blue ... not quite open. Everything is blooming very early, almost all trees have leafed out. Butterflies are flying around checking things our.
More is blooming now and is prettier than in June last summer. Two of our "local" monarchs fly past (NE to SW) as I drove to Victoria along 87 about 2 pm (one 18 miles out, other 22 miles). 81 degrees, clear, slight NE wind ... beautiful. Harlen
