In Maine, the third week of February is a school vacation. Last Friday, I left the house at 3:00 pm for my usual afternoon three mile walk. Out the door, I looked up into the trees and saw a robin!! I couldn't believe it. Why was a robin here so soon? Is it a loner? Is it lost? Where are the rest?
