We planted 151 bulbs but only one has bloomed so far. Our first tulip flower appeared today. It is a pretty, yellow color and is 8 inches tall. The petals are about 11/2 inches long. We thought that our tulips would bloom the end of March or early April so we were surprised to find one blooming today. Did El Nino have anything to do with this?
