Date: 02/27/1998

Mid-Coast of Texas: Had 6 Monarchs from local eggs emerge from their chrysalids the last 24 hours in the 4th grade rooms of Mrs. Datz and Mrs. McKelvey. 4th thru 6th were at state TCS literay competition and I was "larvae sitting". The 2nd, 3rd, and 8th graders got to enjoy the sight. Four emerged between 11 am and 2 pm. I had placed them in the "video box", 18x18x22in with plexiglas sides. Tagged for MW and releasing. Harlen
