Tulips EMERGED

Date: 03/02/1998

Number: 1

Hello Friends,

Our tulips are growing. They are pinkish-red. They only have emerged from the ground. There are cracks along the soil where they have come up. The tulips did not grow straight up. They are not just vertical. The shape of the leaf is like an oval. It is like a bandanna. Our tulips have been growing underground since Thanksgiving. Tulips are planted on the northeast corner of our school. Our tulips have grown about an inch. About one-fifth of them have emerged. We planted about 100 tulip bulbs. It has been warm lately. Our weather has not really been normal this year. We hope that this is a sign that spring has arrived. We hope that it remains warm. Right now it seems that spring is coming early. We liked the maps that you gave us last time because it gave us a lot of important information. From the maps, we could see that a lot of tulips were emerging in the south. We'll see you soon.
