Mrs.Swentzel's and Mrs.Ference's classes have observed our Empereor Red Tulips to have emerged one inch from the ground in the sunny area of our school playground. Those tulips that were planted near the woods are not up yet. We are at a high surface level here in Byram Township,NJ. Our temperatures and spring growth tend to lag a week to ten days behind the low level areas of our state.
