Although I reported a first robin on 2/21/98, I want to count this morning's robin(s) as my first. Clearly a wave of migrants arrived overnight, as many were heard this morning at 6 am. I wonder if they flew because last night was first clear night in at least a week--though I haven't kept track of the exact # cloudy days. First robin records from previous years:
3/11/95, 3/12/96, 3/17/97, 3/7/98, 3/12/88.
