Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/10/1998

Number: 1

On March 4th, we observed our first monarch of the spring that we believe was "journeying north." We have probably had an earlier one since we have larva, but we missed the earlier one. It was sunny, 72 degrees F, and brezzy. The monarch was a male. We observed for 15 minutes and it never lit anywhere.
