First graders sighted 1 robin in our courtyard at school at 10:15 a.m. We had a 2 hour delay in starting school on 3/09/98 due to a snow and ice storm the previous day. As our courtyard is a sheltered area, we thought the robin was seeking refuge from the cold. Since that day, we have not seen any other robins.
