We had 8 Robins on our soccer field on Tuesday evening. Yesterday it snowed all day to cover that soccer field with 8" of very wet snow. Since the roads and walks are quite clear the Robins are still able to find some space to forage.
I haven't seen any flocks yet. But the resident Robins have been taking advantage of the earthworms that recently surfaced. They seem to be doing very well in spite of the snow. 50 degree weather is coming for tomorrow-- the Robins will be thrilled.
