On the fishing pier at Panama City Beach this AM. Three (3) monarch butterflies came in (one at a time) from the Gulf of Mexico. Because of your concerns for positive identification, I paid particular attention. They look like the butterfly on Journey North home page, same color, markings, wing shape, etc.
