The Great Blue Heron arrived at Lubber's Run, the stream that passes near our school. It was sighted in a part of Lubber's Run north of our school. The bird was slowly hunting for food in the stream. The area he was in is rather pond like. At the same time, the Red Winged Blackbirds were noisily setting up territories in the same region. It is exciting to see the heron return!
