Our tulips have bloomed. The first one bloomed on March 4, 1998 and now many are blooming. Six out of seven barrels are blooming. There are 19 plants blooming. Most of our tulips are healthy looking but some are dead looking.They are bright red, white and pinkish. They range in height from 1 inch to 10 1/2 inches.There is more than one tulip on a plant. the leaves are long and thick. The widest leaf is five inches wide.The weather was sunny and warm last week, but now the storms have returned. They smell good. Other signs of Spring include birds signing, warmer weather, other flowers blooming, grass is greener, butterfly sightings, more animals and insects stirring.
